Rideau Inn has the proportions and grandeur of a century home, with high ceilings, oak floors and baseboards, fireplaces, and oak paneling. We are intimate with ten, provincially themed guestrooms, two with private, en-suite baths and four shared baths in the corridors. Guests have maximum privacy and share use of the large ground floor living room, verandah, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, TV lounge and sunny roof deck.The Foyer rises up to the 3rd floor.
The Reception Room overlooking St. Lukes park has oak floors, a gas fireplace and a desk with guest computer and telephone for free local calls.
The Dining Room’s high ceiling, oak French doors, and oak floors add more touches of elegance. A self-serve all-you-can-enjoy breakfast is available from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Enjoy premium juices, fresh-brewed coffee, teas, herbal teas, hot chocolate, cereals, breads, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, freezer waffles & pancakes, muffins and pastries. Complimentary instant coffees or teas are available all day.
The Guest kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, fridge, dishes, pots and pans. You may prepare light meals and keep purchases in the refrigerator.
The private roof deck is shared by all guests for relaxing, sun tanning. Our front verandah, offers a place to meet other guests and watch the passing pedestrian parade. Smoking is allowed here or on the roof deck. St. Lukes park accross the street offers a preschoolers playground, wading pool, and free outdoor basketball and tennis courts.
